The revolution is being sparked by automation, low-carbon economies, digitization, and other emerging work trends. These new technologies need skills that are not usually at the core of a trade school education.

In the Okanagan there is some really big shifts happening as well… Below are the latest numbers from WorkBC and the Canada Job Bank. The supply and demand trades chain has impacted the Thompson Okanagan data somewhat. We believe economic shifts in the Oil and Gas industry have returned a good supply of trades people home while the market corrects itself. (Hopefully)
