~Remember that line in Field Of Dreams – “If you build it, they will come.” Well, it’s not true. Especially when it comes to websites.

Having a pretty website makes it easier to impress prospects who run across it, but if you want lots of potential customers to find you online, It’s going to take some work. We use the analogy of buying a new car. You can have the latest model, with leather, heated seats, and high-end performance package. But if you don’t have any money for gas, that high-end purchase is going to sit in your driveway. It won’t take you anywhere.

The same can be said of website marketing. We encourage all our clients to plan for the long haul – expect to keep your gas tank full, so you can show off your new website to all those people who are searching for the products and services that you deliver.

There are really only two ways to be successful at online marketing. You can either add content to your online properties in a consistent manner, or you can pay for online ads (pay per click). That’s it. Every form of digital marketing boils down to one of those two options.
